APRU International Secretariat is calling for scholar participation to a research and publication project, “Democratizing AI and Building Trust in the Technology”, supported by Google.

Dates & Outline
Approximately 12 scholars are to be recruited to take part in;
a) two face-to-face meetings planned to take place in Tokyo and Hong Kong and
b) one virtual meeting over a 12-month period to present their working papers with the intention of publishing these with a partner to be confirmed.
The first face-to-face meeting will be held in Tokyo at Keio University Mita Campus on December 1, 2017.

Costs
This project is funded by Google and organized and supported by the APRU Secretariat.
Each researcher will be provided a sum of US $8000 to cover the cost of participation to this project.
