In April 2026, Tohoku University reached an agreement with Chulalongkorn University, a partner institution under an inter-university academic exchange agreement, to establish a seed fund aimed at promoting and encouraging joint research between the two universities. We are pleased to announce that, based on this agreement, we have now opened applications for the academic year 2026/27 Seed Fund, which is intended to support joint research projects between the two universities.
If you wish to apply, please consult with your Chulalongkorn University research partner regarding the application details and submit the application form to the address below by Friday, August 21, 2026. Please refer to the information below for details.
