On July 23 a meeting with staff from Tohoku University China Office was held.
In the morning, Tohoku University and the China Office staff held a meeting with 26 members from 13 departments participating. Senior Researchers Jing-Zhi Yu (Tsinghua University), Wan Jiang (Donghua University), and Min Jiang (Northeastern University) gave a presentation on education and research in China, followed by a discussion and opinion exchange.
In the afternoon a liaison meeting was held, where the China Office staff and senior researchers presented on their activities, followed by a discussion on the future activities of the China Office.
