[Call for Participation] MIRAI 2.0 Research and Innovation Week

Tohoku University is currently participating in the “MIRAI 2.0” project, the aim of which is the promotion of research and educational exchanges between universities in Japan and Sweden. The project is being implemented from 2020 to 2022, and collaboration is being promoted in the fields of Materials Science, Sustainability, Ageing, and Artificial Intelligence.

The main activity of the MIRAI 2.0 project is a research & innovation week. It will be held online from Monday, June 7, 2021, to Friday, June 11, 2021. The focus of the research & innovation week will be on match-making between early-career researchers, on integrating innovation and entrepreneurship into the scientific subjects. There will be scientific sessions for each scientific issue during the week.

We are pleased to announce that we will be inviting early-career researchers to join our virtual poster session to present their research and discuss it with colleagues from Sweden and Japan. Please check the following website and apply by May 21. Posters will be available on the event platform throughout the week (June 7-11). Authors are requested to “attend” during the actual poster session on June 7 from 17:40-19:00 (Japan time). Some posters may be selected for a 5-minute “live” presentation.
