Tohoku University is a member of the Japan-UK Research and Education Network for Knowledge Economy Initiatives (RENKEI), which aims to promote research and educational exchanges between major universities in Japan and the United Kingdom. RENKEI members are engaged in activities such as research, knowledge transfer, and the development of talented individuals.
RENKEI is currently focusing on the creation of new collaborative research efforts between Japanese and UK members in the fields of Climate Change and Health. On June 23-24, a workshop for researchers working in the field of Health will be held online. The workshop will include presentations and panel discussions by researchers on the sub-themes of “Patient Safety”, “Medicine and Informatics”, and “Aging”.
RENKEI is seeking a presenter who would like to make a presentation on the sub-theme of Patient Safety. If you wish to present your research, please inform the Global Engagement Division
at kokusai-k@grp.tohoku.ac.jp, attaching a résumé with your career details (in a format of your choosing), and an outline of your planned presentation, by April 8 (Thursday).
