Invite young researchers to present at MIRAI 2.0 Research & Innovation Week in the field of Sustainability

Tohoku University has participated in MIRAI 2.0 for “Connecting Swedish and Japanese universities through research, education, and innovation”, and is promoting collaboration among member universities scientific issues within Ageing, Materials Science, Sustainability and AI relevant to both countries.

The main activity of the MIRAI 2.0 project is a research & innovation week. It will be held online from Monday, June 7, 2021, to Friday, June 11, 2021.
The focus of the research & innovation week will be on match-making between early career researchers, on integrating innovation and entrepreneurship into the scientific subjects.
There will be scientific sessions for each scientific issue during the week.
We are pleased to announce that we will be inviting young researchers (within 10 years of obtaining their Ph.D.) to present at the Scientific Session in the field of Sustainability.

A young researcher who wishes to present his/her research on any of the following three topics are requested to submit their CV (any format), selected topic, and planned presentation title to Global Engagement Division kokusai-k@grp.tohoku.ac.jp by Wednesday, March 3, 2021.

Topic 1 Sustainability Transformation
(Incl. Smart and Resilient City which mean not only for “City,” but also for the general transformation for the global or local scales, and Clean Energy)

Topic 2 Climate and Security
(Incl. Peace and Migration issues)

Topic 3 Assessment Method for the Negative Emissions
