On October 15th, 2014, Harvard University’s Prof. Robert M. Westervelt, (Director, Center for Nanoscale Systems) attended a special seminar held by Tohoku University’s Research Institute of Electrical Communication and Advanced Institute for Materials Research (AIMR). Prior to the meeting Professor Westervelt met with President Susumu Satomi and Executive Vice President Toshiya Ueki.
Professor Westervelt is responsible for managing the academic exchange agreement between Tohoku University and Harvard University, and the participants shared their opinions regarding renewing the agreement, discussed the possibility of beginning hosting joint workshops at Harvard University.
