This annual conference is an exciting opportunity for researchers and experts from across the Asia-Pacific region to advance their ideas and research outputs within the structure of select working groups in the following research areas, including

TWO-STEP Registration to the Conference

To participate in a working group and attend the conference, please:
Step 1:
Provide an expression of interest (EOI), outlining your name, position, 100-word statement, and a preferred (or previous) working group, and send it to apruscl2019@gmail.com by June 1, 2019.

Your EOI will be distributed to working group leaders and you will be advised of successful selection.

Step 2:
Once you have received a confirmation from a working group leader, a registration link will be provided as part of your confirmation.

Costs

The earlybird registration fee of 225 USD (ends 5pm 15th June Australian Eastern Standard Time).
Registration fee thereafter is 275 USD.

Participants are responsible for their own travel expenses and registration fee.
Participants from Tohoku University whose EOI are accepted will be provided with travel subsidies and registration fee by Tohoku University.

Student Competition

For undergraduates or postgraduates students, the Student Competition is now open.

The competition is to design a physical intervention/series of interventions that meaningfully improves the lives of refugees in the city, in the short, medium and/or long term.

The winning schemes will be announced at the APRU Sustainable Cities and Landscapes conference, being held at UNSW (Sydney), August 29 – September 1, 2019
