UNESCAP Collaboration Opportunity
UNESCAP (United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific) is looking for
one academic expert from the APRU network, who is interested in sustainable cities, to develop a technical background paper to inform the Future of Asia and Pacific Cities 2019 Report.
The report will be launched at the 7th Asia Pacific Urban Forum, October 2019.
Aim
The aim is to inform the report on the ways and means to support the implementation of the UN SDGs and New Urban Agenda at the city level in Asia and the Pacific.
Timeline for the Paper Development:
December 2018 – February 2019
- UNESCAP can provide some financial support for the writing of the paper.
- Contributors will be fully acknowledged in the main Report.
- The paper can also be disseminated as a stand-alone publication and presented at relevant consultative meetings leading up the completion of the full report.
