On July 22nd, 2015, the 2015 Tohoku University China Office Staff Liaison and Opinion Exchange Meeting were held at Tohoku University.
In the morning, Senior Researchers from the China Office, Prof. Yu Jingzhi (Tsinghua University), Prof. Jiang Wan (Donghua University) and Prof. Jiang Min (Northeastern University), joined the Liaison Meeting. They reported on the current activities of the office, and the meeting attendees discussed ideas for its future activities.
In the afternoon, twenty participants from fourteen departments attended the Opinion Exchange Session. Following reports on the current status of education and research in China by the three Senior Researchers, the session attendees exchanged opinions on what solid steps can be taken to further exchanges between Tohoku University and universities in China.
