To encourage broad intellectual engagement and debate, we are seeking papers on a range of topics consistent with the thematic pillars of the symposium which will be delivered as part of panel discussions – the principle themes of this year’s symposium will focus of on four pillars:
– Disability and Compensation
– Suicide
– GI Bill
– Successful Transition to Civilian Life
The above list represents the symposium thematic pillars but it is not exhaustive in its scope and we welcome proposals that explore new directions in action oriented research from a range of approaches that touch on the symposium themes.

Please submit a 300 word abstract and a 1-page CV by 1 December, 2016.

January 30, 2016: The selection committee will notify applicants of its decision.
May 1, 2017: Drafts (10-page maximum) papers to be submitted and will be circulated to conference participants via the conference website.
