Tohoku University is actively strengthening its partnerships with India. As part of this initiative, we held “MEET India Day” in FY2025 to introduce India to our students.
Many participants joined us to explore India from various perspectives, including industry, academia, and culture.

MEET India Seminar Series Vol. 1 “The Appeal of the Indian Market and the Reality of Expansion — Beyond Next Ventures CEO Mr. Ito”
This seminar will introduce Beyond Next Ventures Inc. (BNV), a fast-growing venture capital firm in India. BNV’s CEO, Mr. Tsuyoshi Ito, will share his personal experiences, including what motivated him to expand into India, the potential he sees on the ground, and the outlook for supporting local startups.
The second half of the seminar will feature an interactive Q&A session to answer your questions directly.
