On 20 January, Tohoku University was honoured to welcome a delegation from Chulalongkorn University in Thailand. The delegation was received by EVP Toshiya Ueki.
During the meeting, the group celebrated the longstanding relationship between Tohoku and Chulalongkorn whilst exploring opportunities for future development. The Faculty of Economics – which regularly sends students to Chulalongkorn as part of its study-abroad programme – was represented by Professor Akira Hibiki.
Earlier in the day, the Chulalongkorn delegation had paid a call to the Graduate School of Information Technology, with further visits to AIMR and IRIDeS made that afternoon.
