On 17th November, Tohoku University was honoured to receive a delegation from Kasetsart University in Thailand. The delegation included two Tohoku alumni and was welcomed by EVP Toshiya Ueki that afternoon.
During their meeting, the group celebrated the relatioship between Tohoku and Kasetsart whilst probing opportunities for further development. In particular, Kasetsart highlighted its record in agriculture, environmental science, and disaster research – all of which find strong parallels at Tohoku.
After their meeting, the Kasetsart delegation paid a call to AIMR, and on Tuesday 18th met with further representatives from the Graduate School of Engineering, IRIDeS, and the Graduate School of Agriculture.
