[Call for Participation] APRU Multi-Hazards 2025 Summer School

The 10th APRU MH Summer School, organized by the International Research Institute of Disaster Science (IRIDeS) Tohoku university, will be held on July 29-August 1 at Tohoku University.
This year’s focus is “Science, Technology, and Innovation in Disaster Risk Reduction (DRR): Applying Big Data and AI.” Graduate students and young researchers interested in disaster risk reduction (DRR) and management are welcome to join this event.

■Program: The Multi-Hazards 2025 Summer School consists of a 3-day seminar and a site visit to the affected area affected by the Great East Japan Earthquake and Tsunami.

・Lessons learnt from the Great East Japan Earthquake and Tsunami
・Experience and case studies by various stakeholders
・DRR research and initiatives by the APRU member universities
・Applying big data and AI in DRR
