Tohoku University concluded a university-level academic exchange agreement this April 2024.
After that, to promote and encourage joint research between the two universities in a concrete way, Tohoku University participated in the Global Seed Fund project of KU Leuven last July.
This time, KU Leuven selected one joint research project with Tohoku University for the Seed Fund support for the 2024-2025 academic year.
The successful collaborative research project will receive research funding from both universities to support its activities for one year in principle (maximum for two years) starting in January 2025.
