Executive Vice President Ueki and Vice President Yamaguchi visit the Indian Institute of Technology Bombay

Executive Vice President Toshiya Ueki and Vice President Masahiro Yamaguchi visited the Indian Institute of Technology Bombay (IITB) on October 21 and 22. The primary purpose of this visit was to exchange insights and explore strategies for further strengthening of collaborative efforts between the two institutions. EVP Ueki and VP Yamaguchi met with the Director of IITB, Prof. Shireesh Kedare, and other key members interested in strengthening collaborations with Tohoku University. The meeting included an in-depth discussion on opportunities for expanding collaboration in certain fields and specific measures to enhance cooperation.

During their visit, EVP Ueki and VP Yamaguchi toured the Society for Innovation and Entrepreneurship (SINE), which is IITB’s startup incubation center, and the Center for Excellence in Nano Electronics. They also visited the Koita Center for Digital Health (KCDH), which focuses on digital healthcare initiatives. At each facility, they received detailed explanations of the ongoing projects and initiatives.
