Outline
Our facilities and equipment are for common use. The SIRC is available to all members of Tohoku University, regardless of department. As a basic policy, researchers and students maintain and operate all equipment in SIRC themselves under the guidance of the responsible persons. Therefore, all users cooperate in daily maintenance, and the status of equipment is notified to all by mailing list.
Policy
We aim to help as many people as possible learn techniques based on micro/nano fabrication, proceed with advanced research, and contribute widely to the realization of practical devices that will create industry. For this reason, when using equipment, the users should fully understand how to use it, make adjustments so as to exhibit sufficient performance, and participate in post-treatment and maintenance in consideration of next users. Through mutual information exchange and cooperation, we would like to maintain easy-to-use facilities and high-quality research environments.
