Fostering
the Next Generation of Specialists
to Lead Japan-India Cooperation
Tohoku University, the Indian Institute of Technology Bombay (IITB), Indian Institute of Technology Delhi (IITD), and Indian Institute of Science (IISc), are collaborating to gradually and systematically promote international exchange between Japan and India. With cooperation from Social Joint Development Partners comprising co-sponsoring enterprises, Indian Institute of Technology alumni, and others, we aim to enable students to collaborate across boarders, learn about each others' strengths, and foster ties based on trust and joint development.
This program furthers the cause of nurturing international specialists and internationalizing research based on cooperation between Japanese and Indian universities. Through practical exchange, the program will deepen mutual understanding and trust between India and Japan and strengthen the strategic partnership between the two countries, as well as contributing to the acceleration of innovation and human resource cycles, and social/industrial global expansion.
