Professor Iizuka gave a lecture at the 141st Colloquium on Environment: International Joint Symposium on Environmental and Bioengineering Research for Sustainable Resource Availability, held at the Graduate School of Environmental Studies, Tohoku University on February 20, 2025.

This symposium was held to summarize and introduce the latest research results by project members and related researchers in the fields of environmental research and life sciences, as the international research project “Introduction of advanced biomolecular engineering methods toward the accomplishment of a novel metallic resource recovery technology,” which has been carried out with the support of the Grant-in-Aid for Scientific Research (Kakenhi), approaches its final year.
