Welcome to Kuwahara Lab!
Welcome to the homepage of Microsatellite Technology Research and Development Group (Space Robotics Laboratory). In our laboratory, we aim to develop technologies necessary for space exploration , such as the research on dynamics, control, satellite structure and mechanism, and equipments on-board. Space Robotics Laboratory has been conducting R&D and operate several 50kg-class satellites and Cubesats, including our first microsatellite SPRITE-SAT launched in 2009. In October 2015, a new laboratory within Space Robotics Laboratory named Kuwahara Laboratory, which focuses on the research and development of Microsatellite Technology, was established. Since then, the range of our research activities has expanded. In this site, however, the information on microsatellite technology research and development of the Space Robotics Laboratory will be posted together.
