The China-Japan-Korea International Joint Forum, “Asia Low Carbon Technology and Innovation Conference: 2024 China-Japan-Korea Science and Technology Forum Focused on Young Researchers for a Low-Carbon Society,” was held in Dalian, China, on November 15 and 16, 2024. The forum, themed “Energy Transition, Green Innovation, and the Path to Regional Carbon Neutrality,” was held in conjunction with the 29th Conference of the Parties to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (COP29). Its objectives were to promote exchanges and cooperation among young people from China, Japan, and Korea in the fields of green transition and low-carbon innovation, provide a platform for open and exploratory exchanges among young scientists, and encourage them to pool their wisdom and strength to jointly build a clean and beautiful Asia and lead the way in green, low-carbon development of the future. Professor Iizuka was invited to give a lecture on the topic of Low-Carbon Cities and Resilient Infrastructure.
