Tohoku University Open Campus was held on July 30 and 31, and Yabukami, Kuwahata, and Aoki (Ei) Lab. gave demonstrations, demonstrations, and displays on the second floor of the Electrical and Information Engineering Building No. 1. In addition to last year’s activities, we conducted hands-on experiments such as environmental power generation by Dr. Aoki, falling magnets, and catheter induction by Mr. Imazaki and Mr. Kamijima, etc. For two days there was no break in the flow of visitors, and students in our lab worked almost continuously to explain things to visitors. I felt that the elementary, junior high, and high school students who visited our lab were happy to participate in the experiments. Many parents also accompanied the visitors, listening intently to the lab students’ explanations and asking questions. In the next year, we would like to add more hands-on exhibits to attract more participants. I would like to thank the students of the laboratory for their hard work in preparation, cleanup, and handling of the demonstrations. (Yabukami)
