Pd(III)は非常に稀な酸化状態であり、これまで主に触媒化学の観点から研究がなされています。しかし近年、当研究室が一次元Pd(III)-Br錯体を初めて報告したことを皮切りに、Pd(III)種を含む複数の機能性固体材料の報告がなされ、注目を浴びています。本研究室D2学生のMianらは、一次元Pd(III)-Br錯体の配位子として初めて水素結合ドナーであるヒドロキシ基を導入し、水素結合によって対アニオンであるBr-の位置を制御することで、これまでの一次元Pd(III)-Br錯体と比べて約100万倍の高い電気伝導率を有し、分解温度 (170℃) までPd(III)の酸化状態を維持することのできる錯体を合成しました。 なお、この論文は最新の注目論文を紹介する国際化学ニュースサイトChemistry Viewsに紹介されました。詳しくはこちら
