Specially Appointed Prof. Fumiyuki Adachi (Professor Emeritus, Tohoku University) received "Stuart Meyer Memorial Award" from IEEE VTS (Vehicular Technology Society).

This award established by Ericsson (Sweden) and IEEE VTS to commend the accomplishment of Stuart Meyer contributed to the development of the cell phone started as Trunked radio, is awarded to researchers who contributed to society through the development of wireless science and technology.
