In this study, we proposed and demonstrated a capacitive MEMS actuator array integrated on a spoof surface plasmon polariton (SSPP) waveguide, achieving active phase modulation of microwave signals. This work has been highly evaluated as an important contribution with strong potential applications in 5G/6G communication systems and active metamaterials, and was therefore selected as a Cover Feature.
