Laboratory tours for third-year students of the department of electrical, information and physics engineering (september 25 and 26)

On September 25th and 26th, we held a laboratory tour for third-year students in Room 308 and online. Following the online tour in the morning, in the afternoon, we exhibited deformed demonstrations of the research content (magnetic heating, environmental power generation, rotation of magnetic particles and antigens, magnetic guidance of catheters) and tried to explain it to the third-year students in an easy-to-understand manner. The 2024 Open Campus has ended successfully!

Tohoku University Open Campus was held on July 30 and 31, and Yabukami, Kuwahata, and Aoki (Ei) Lab. gave demonstrations, demonstrations, and displays on the second floor of the Electrical and Information Engineering Building No. 1. In addition to last year’s activities, we conducted hands-on experiments such as environmental power generation by Dr. Aoki, falling magnets, and catheter induction by Mr. Imazaki and Mr. Kamijima, etc. For two days there was no break in the flow of visitors, and students in our lab worked almost continuously to explain things to visitors. I felt that the elementary, junior high, and high school students who visited our lab were happy to participate
