On Thursday, October 24, the Tohoku University Electrical and Information Technology Collaboration Forum was held at the Research Institute of Electrical Communication, Tohoku University. Our laboratory and Tohoku-TMIT Corporation (a start-up company of which Mr. Okita and Mr. Yabukami are the representative directors) demonstrated and exhibited permeability measurement probes and portable sensors for microorganisms and proteins (the photo shows an explanation). Mr. Mashiko, Mr. Tohtake, Mr. Imai, Mr. Okita, and Mr. Yabukami, who are researching related topics, were in charge of explanations. The visitors were quite different from those at the Open Campus, Science Day, Children’s Campus, etc. This time, the visitors were mainly working people, companies, and university staff, who asked specialized questions and engaged in discussions.
