Overview of Research
The chemical studies on the biological phenomenon are a dream of natural products chemist for a long time. We carry out the research on "the dynamic aspects of natural product chemistry" for the physiologically intriguing phenomenon of "action of the plant " which fascinated many big scientists such as C. Darwin and J. H. Fabre.
In our laboratory, organic chemistry for biological phenomenon that is controlled by biological clock has been developed. This research requires the scientific approach of the wide utilization of various techniques in natural product chemistry, such as isolation of bioactive substance, organic synthetic chemistry, and biochemical handlings of the cell and protein. Our aims are focused on the research result that remains for long time in the history of science in the world.
