With Seki-san and Iwanaga-san, we could enjoy 10 different sake from the T\u014dhoku region. That was quite a lot, but it allowed me to discover several types of sake. My favourites were a pink sweet one, another one based on oolong tea, and a &#8220;muddy&#8221; one (called that way because it still has rice in it). As it can be seen on the picture, it was hard not to spill them. That is unfortunate because this was such an impressive festival ! With other COLABS members, we loved seeing the 6 major summer festivals of the T\u014dhoku region all in one place. Its name comes from the urge to face together the consequences of the Great East Japan erthquake (2011), after which it was created. Each dance group had their own style, making it interesting to watch. The first day, I could immerse myself in the atmosphere and see different Sparrow dance groups. This helped me to enjoy better my second day during which, thanks to Tohoku University, I participated to the main parade by pulling a Yamaboko ! That was a great experience to feel a bit more part of the japanese
