Can company-belonging persons use SIRC?<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>A. Yes, you can use SIRC under joint research projects with laboratories of Tohoku University. If you cannot find any laboratories you can contact, please contact us from <a href=\"https:\/\/web.tohoku.ac.jp\/sirc\/en\/contact\">the inquiry form<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3>Q. To Whom should I contact for the usage procedure?<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>A. First of all, <a href=\"https:\/\/web.tohoku.ac.jp\/sirc\/en\/guide#link03\">please check here<\/a>. If you are still unsure, please contact us via <a href=\"https:\/\/web.tohoku.ac.jp\/sirc\/en\/contact\">the inquiry form<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3>Q. I cannot access the test server or the safety lecture page.<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>A. Please use the on-campus network, not the external network to access the test server. Only Tohoku Univ. Mail account holders can access the safety lecture. For off-campus users, <meta charset=\"utf-8\"><a href=\"https:\/\/web.tohoku.ac.jp\/sirc\/en\/guide#link03\">please check here<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3>Q. I took a safety lecture and passed the test. Where should I submit the usage registration application?<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>A. <a href=\"https:\/\/web.tohoku.ac.jp\/sirc\/en\/guide#link03\">Please check here<\/a>. In the case of registration renewal procedure, please refrain from contacting us individually. Your laboratory staffs make the list of renewal members and submit to SIRC.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3>Q. Is there an expiration date after registration for use?<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>A. Yes. An annual renewal procedure (taking the safety lecture and passing the test) is required. We will inform you about the details via our mailing list.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 id=\"link02\">Billing<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<h3>Q. Please tell me about the charges.<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>A. Basically, equipment usage fees, consumables, and technical guidance fees are charged according to the usage record. Please see <a class=\"key\" href=\"https:\/\/web.tohoku.ac.jp\/sirc\/en\/for-campus#documents\">the usage fee list<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3>Q. Is the usage fee charged according to the actual usage time?<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>A. No. It is according to the reservation time, so please make a reservation after making a well-considered experiment plan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3>Q. How is the invoice issued?<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>A. The invoice will be sent to the laboratory representative the following month, which is closed at the end of each month.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3>Q. Is it possible to specify the financial resources for payment of usage fees?<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>A. Yes. You are asked to submit a document specifying the financial resources for payment for each invoice. However, you can only pay the operational budget or donations for the March usage and clean room entrance fee.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 id=\"link03\">Facility<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<h3>Q. What do I need to use SIRC?<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>A. <a href=\"https:\/\/web.tohoku.ac.jp\/sirc\/en\/guide#link05\">Please check here<\/a>. Please bring your own room shoes. If you use the clean room, please bring your own clean wear and shoes. When pumping out liquefied nitrogen, you need special gloves.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3>Q. What kind of clean wear should I use?<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>A. <a href=\"https:\/\/web.tohoku.ac.jp\/sirc\/en\/guide#link05\">Please check here<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3>Q. Can I use SIRC at midnight?<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>A. Yes, you can after the registration for use. Please obey <a class=\"key\" href=\"https:\/\/web.tohoku.ac.jp\/sirc\/en\/for-campus#documents\">the rules for midnight use (on-campus only)<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3>Q. This is my first time using a clean room, so please tell me how to use it.<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>A. Please contact us via <a href=\"https:\/\/web.tohoku.ac.jp\/sirc\/en\/contact\">the inquiry form<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3>Q. Is it possible to wash clean wear?<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>A. Yes. A washing machine and detergent are provided in the pre-cleanroom. Please contact the SIRC staff for details.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 id=\"link04\">Equipment<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<h3>Q. I would like to discuss whether the desired experiment is possible with SIRC.<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>A. Please contact us via <a href=\"https:\/\/web.tohoku.ac.jp\/sirc\/en\/contact\">the inquiry form<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3>Q. Since this is my first time using the machine\/instrument, please tell me how to use it.<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>A. Please contact the responsible person listed in <a class=\"key\" href=\"https:\/\/web.tohoku.ac.jp\/sirc\/en\/for-campus#documents\">the responsible person list (on-campus only)<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3>Q. Is it possible to cancel the equipment reservation?<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>A. Reservations one hour after the current time can be canceled. If you find that you cannot use the machine\/instrument due to the out of order just before your using, please contact the SIRC staff.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 id=\"link05\">Others<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<h3>Q. My email address and the laboratory were changed. Please tell me the procedure for changing registration.<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>A. There is no private parking space, so please have a temporary parking permission issued at the Mechanical Engineering office and park in the designated space.
