International Collaboration between Japanese, British, and American
Universities to Create Resilient Societies

The 2023 Summer Institute on International Education, Japan (SIIEJ) was held at Tohoku University on July 20 and 21. Tohoku University instructors gave an overview of the project’s initiatives at the 10th session, titled “The Potential of Projects for Enhancing Global Development Capacity: from Conception to Utilization.” At the session they also introduced the initiatives of 2021’s project, “Multimodal Global Leaders Development through Asian-Model Dentistry Consortium.” About 30 people attended and actively participated in the Q&A and discussion.
