CGHE & Tohoku University Online Roundtable: Supportive Research Cultures
Tohoku University and UCL’s Institute of Education’s joint project ‘Delivering research excellence within an inclusive, diverse and equitable research culture’ is creating a cross-cultural, cross-institutional network of researchers, scholars and senior professional service leaders to develop an understanding of, and share best practice on, ‘what works’ in tackling research culture challenges.
This CGHE-affiliated online Roundtable event presents the project’s initial findings from ongoing joint research into how HEIs (higher education institutions) can create supportive and inclusive research cultures, inviting an expert panel to reflect on and explore a crucial topic for higher education institutions in today’s international research landscape.
