Space Structures Laboratory MAKIHARA-HARA/OTSUKA

Our laboratory is conducting research on the structural design of space structures and aeronautical structures mainly from the viewpoint of applied dynamics based on experiments. In the structural design of space structures, a comprehensive design takes various aspects into consideration such as energy, control, and aerodynamic characteristics. We are conducting ambitious research for future developments such as lunar base, mars aircraft, and electrodynamic tether for space debris removal. We are looking for students who have the spirit of challenge.
