Lymph node metastasis is an extremely important prognostic factor in many cancers. In head and neck cancers, lymph node metastasis is estimated to account for 20-30% of all deaths, and Kodama Lab is developing a lymphatic drug delivery system to treat metastatic lymph nodes.
