Published in Scientific Reports: New Non-Invasive Cancer Hyperthermia Therapy.

2025.11.28 Press release

We are pleased to share that our recent study has been published in Scientific Reports and featured in a press release by Tohoku University.
In this work, we developed a new non-invasive cancer hyperthermia therapy by combining magnetic nanoparticles with a lymphatic drug delivery system (LDDS). Using a mouse metastasis model, we demonstrated that controlled magnetic heating can suppress tumor progression in lymph nodes and lung metastasis while minimizing adverse effects.

🔹 Key Findings
Development of a temperature-controlled magnetic hyperthermia system
Significant inhibition of tumor growth in lymph nodes and lungs
Reduced systemic toxicity, offering a potential alternative to lymph node dissection
A novel therapeutic concept utilizing nanoparticles + lymphatic delivery
