Its aim is to facilitate exchanges that are based on the common interests of its member universities . The Japanese member universities are Kyoto University, Tohoku University and Osaka University, and the German member universities are Heidelberg University, Karlsruhe Institute of Technology and the University of G\u00f6ttingen.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<hr style=\"border: none; border-top: dashed 1px #ccc; height: 1px; color: #ffffff;\" \/>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/web.tohoku.ac.jp\/ged\/consortia\/mirai\"><br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-1269\" src=\"https:\/\/web.tohoku.ac.jp\/ged\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/05\/logo.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"80\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<h3><a href=\"https:\/\/web.tohoku.ac.jp\/ged\/consortia-2\/mirai-2?lang=en\">MIRAI\u00a0<\/a><\/h3>\n<p>Launched in 2017, MIRAI is a strategic collaborative project that aims to connect Swedish and Japanese universities through research, education, innovation, and efforts to nurture the next generation. Its aim is to build upon the collaborative work of its member universities and strengthen collaborations with industry across the areas of joint research, knowledge transfer, and human resource development .
