For example, mobile communication systems, represented by cellular phones, are critical infrastructure supporting daily life and industry. These communication systems have evolved into their current form over decades. We are constantly researching and contemplating the shape of communication systems that will support the future 20 or 30 years from now. With the dawn of the AI\/IoT era, AI and communication capabilities are being integrated into virtually everything. Our research spans diverse subjects, from everyday objects like smartphones, drones, machines, automobiles, ships, aircraft, satellites, and probes, all the way to space. The functions and performance we aim to achieve extend beyond high speed and reliability to include improvements in energy efficiency and resilience, contributing to the realization of a sustainable society.
