A very popular Japanese music group has announced that they would hold concerts during 19-23/Sep. This has made finding rooms during
ENDE by yourself almost impossible at this moment. Fortunately, our travel agency has reserved about 70 rooms for ENDE participants. It is likely
that many rooms will be available in the middle of September because at this moment the tickets for the concert is not sold yet,
and possibly you can find a better hotel with more reasonable price. However, we would like to strongly suggest you to reserve your
hotel through us.
Please note that there are quite a few hotels near the venue as Sendai is the center of business in North-east part of Japan.
It would be likely that you can very easily find and reserve a hotel most suitable for you on the Internet through,

Please use on-line registration system to reserve your room. We keep rooms in
All of them are in the downtown of Sendai and quite close to the venue.
You can confirm their prices and locations in the on-line system.
Please
note that hotels in Japan usually charge per person (not per room).
This means that reserving two single rooms costs basically same with reserving
one double room.
If you would like to stay in a dormitory, which we prepare basically for students,
please contact the secretariat.
We would like to suggest you NOT to move to Sendai earlier than 20th.
We keep rooms for 20th-25th since ENDE Workshop is basically from 21st.
Finding rooms on 19th is very difficult because of the concert. We would like to suggest
you to come to Sendai on 20th or 21st in the morning to avoid problems.
Please kindly understand the difficulty in finding a room at this moment.
If you need to your accommodation on 19th, we can prepare rooms in a dormitory, which
we prepared for students, for you. In that case, please contact the secretariat by 24/July.
We prepared quite cost-effective accommodation (dormitory) for students, and
would like to ask the students to stay there.
The cost is approximately 2,250JPY(+TAX)/night for a double use. Please note that it cannot be reserved through the on-line system;
the student events executive committee will contact those who registered as 'Student' individually with
more specific information on this matter.
A special pre-workshop meeting for students will be held on 20th afternoon. There is no problem in
staying the dormitory on 19th; we strongly suggest the students to come to Sendai on 19th or 20th in the morning
to join the meeting. Please note that we need to submit the list of guests to the dormitory by the end of July to
confirm the reservation. We would like to ask you to inform the committee of your schedule by 24/July.
