Instructions for presentations
Please see the following instructions to prepare your presentation.
For podium sessions
- Each presentation will have 25 minutes including discussion time.
- Speakers are expected to bring their own laptops for the oral presentation. Please let us know beforehand if you wish to use our laptop to make a presentation.
- The laptop will be connected to the LCD projector via D-Sub connectors with 15 pins. HDMI and DVI interfaces are not supported. Please do not forget to prepare an adapter suitable for your laptop if necessary, especially for Mac.
- A power outlet (Type-A, AC 100V) is available while you are making a presentation.
For poster sessions
- The standard (and maximum) size of the poster is ISO-A0 portrait, which is 841mm (Width) x 1189mm (Height).
- A desk will be placed in front of every poster panel. Speakers can place any materials related to their presentations on the desk unless they disturb other presentations. The width allowed for each poster is 88cm.
- Laptops may also be used on the desk. There is no power supply, so the laptops should be charged enough prior to use. We have no anti-theft device on the desk and cannot take any responsibility for any damages or loss of valuables including laptops.
